Amelia has worked within the speech pathology setting for over 10 years. Over this time, she has primarily worked in the private clinic sector, enabling her to gain experience in the varied areas of speech pathology.
Amelia began work as a speech pathologist in sunny Queensland before returning home to follow her career in her home city of Melbourne.
With experience in voice, feeding, AAC and expressive/receptive communication delays, Amelia has found her passion in speech-sound disorders and written communication.
Amelia has extensive experience in working with children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and has had the privilege of working with some of these clients across their childhood, beginning therapy with them prior to having any verbal output, then working to support their speech sound development, language development, and then through to their literacy development.
